HUNTINGTON PARK, CA — Dekra-Lite is honored to once again partner with the City of Huntington Park for this year’s Christmas Lane Parade. The parade will be held at 6 p.m. December 10 at Slauson Avenue and Pacific Boulevard, traveling south on Pacific to Florence Avenue. From 6 to 7:30 p.m. Pacific Boulevard will be closed to traffic, along with portions of adjoining Gage, Zoe and Saturn avenues, City Manager Edgar Cisneros said in a report to the council on October 18. Concerning street decorations, Cisneros said each year the city provides holiday decorations on Pacific Boulevard for the community to enjoy. In 2014, the city purchased holiday decorations from Dekra-Lite. He said Dekra-Lite will be responsible again this year for installation, removal and storage of existing city-owned decorations. In addition, Dekra-Lite will upgrade city-owned decorations with LED cool white lights and add additional lights to the overhead décor, the city manager said. As a new feature, Dekra-Lite has manufactured and will install two 21.5-foot high Shooting Star Skylines for greater parade route illumination, he added.
