High-demand markets like Southern California often fill installation schedules by September. If you're starting the conversation in October, you may still find availability, but your options narrow quickly. The earlier, the better

What's included in a turnkey program?

A full turnkey program typically includes: site assessment and design, product procurement, professional installation, seasonal maintenance visits, and post-season removal and storage of reusable components. You approve the design and budget, we handle everything else.

Do you provide commercial holiday lighting outside of Southern California?

Yes. Dekra-Lite serves commercial properties across the United States. Southern California is a core market, but we work with shopping centers, municipalities, theme parks, and other commercial properties nationwide.

How long does installation take?

Installation timelines vary by project scope. A single-property retail program typically takes 1–3 days. Large-scale shopping center and municipal programs may require 1–2 weeks. We schedule installations around your operational hours to minimize disruption to tenants and customers

What happens if lights go out during the season?

Our turnkey programs include scheduled maintenance visits and rapid-response service for mid-season outages. We don't leave properties dark. If something fails, we fix it

Can you match our brand's colors and aesthetic?

Yes. Custom color programs, themed décor, and brand-aligned design are a core part of what we do. We work with your marketing team to align the holiday program with your property's identity.

Do you offer wholesale pricing for lighting contractors?

For installations that require permitting, yes, we coordinate with local authorities as part of the installation process. This is especially common for municipal streetscape programs and large outdoor installations.

Safety & Maintenance

My décor isn’t working. How do I get it fixed?

If any of your décor goes haywire during the season — lights out, broken ornaments, fallen props — schedule a maintenance request with our team as soon as possible.

1. Call our Holiday Hotline (714)556-5218. This number will connect you with a Dekra-Lite representative or our voicemail. In either case, this is the best number to reach our team for emergency repairs.

2. Call our North Pole Mission Control center (714)436-0705 ext. 802. We have elves working at North Pole Mission Control from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. most days, and they would love to help you get your repairs started.

3. Send a request via email to NorthPoleMissionControl@dekra-lite.com. Our North Pole Mission Control elves will get someone out to start your repairs as soon as possible.

4. Call your sales representative. They will notify our maintenance team of your request.

5. Leave a message at our front desk (714)436-0705 and someone will contact you for further information and assistance.

How do I make sure my property’s Christmas decorations are safe?

To ensure the safety of outdoor commercial holiday decorations, make sure to follow manufacturer instructions for installation, use proper electrical connections and waterproofing techniques, and secure decorations properly to withstand wind and other weather conditions.

Regular maintenance and inspections are also essential to make sure everything stays plugged in, water resistant, and looking great!
