Flat Christmas Trees for Small Spaces: Natural or Flocked?

Christmas can make a grand entrance in a small space. A flat tree brings a full-looking front and a shallow profile to a shop window, wall-side display or narrow decorating area.

Dekra-Lite’s Natural Flat Trees and Flocked Flat Trees both have a documented 18-inch depth and come in five- and six-foot heights. Here’s how to choose a look, plan your display and open the exact height you want.

What does the 18-inch profile mean?

The product descriptions call this measurement the tree’s depth: 18 inches, or 1.5 feet, from front to back. It is not the tree’s width. Both ranges are described as full from the front with a thin profile, making them useful where a Christmas silhouette matters more than a view from every side.

The listed depth alone does not establish the complete installed footprint, including a stand or added decorations. Measure your available space and confirm any missing dimensions for your display before ordering.

Choose your Christmas look

Natural foliage gives ornaments and ribbon a traditional green backdrop. Flocked foliage adds a snowy appearance to the same narrow-profile idea. Both ranges are pre-lit with warm white mini lights. Choose the finish and height that suit your display.

Plan the display around the viewing angle

For a shop window, face the fuller front toward the glass and use the remaining display area for wrapped presents or other separately purchased décor. Along a wall, repeat the same finish for a cohesive backdrop, or use the two heights together to create a stepped Christmas scene.

A flat tree is a different choice from a slender tree. Slender describes a narrow overall shape; flat describes the shallow profile documented for these two ranges. If visitors will see the tree from several directions, compare the shape with the other trees in our commercial Christmas tree collection.

Choose five or six feet

A five-foot tree is 60 inches tall; a six-foot tree is 72 inches tall. Measure from the surface where your display will sit and allow space for the decorations you plan to add. The product descriptions do not say whether a particular topper or base changes the stated height.
